as a kid i always thought it was so fucking dumb that no one could tell that danny and “the ghost kid” were the same person, but now that i think about it, maybe the simplistic animation style just smoothed it down and in reality he looked/sounded much different when in ghost form??

and also of course they’re not gonna animate him to look significantly diffrent to the audience because then that would probably get confusing for kids

he’s probably really pale as a ghost, or at least legitimately dead-looking, and with sharper features

and okay i’m gonna add to the trans!danny headcanon because tbh i’m 100% sold: what if when he’s in ghost form he even looks more masculine, like how he wants to look, since that’s what his “soul” looks like as opposed to his body

i mean okay look at THIS even:

danny has significantly wider hips in human form. if his hips were actually as skinny as they were in ghost form, it literally makes no sense for his pants to be that wide. he even has wider shoulders in ghost form (actually wider than his hips, unlike in human form)–all around a MUCH more masculine figure.

seriously if this wasn’t intended by the writers and/or animators then?????? regardless i’m calling it, danny fenton is trans and there’s no way you can convince me otherwise
