My hamster Lucina has recently been very bloated in her abdominal area, which is a sign of a tumor in her reproductive tract. Because of the tumor’s placement and the fact that it is still small, you can’t feel the tumor through palpation alone. Lucina will need an x-ray done in order for the vet to see the tumor.
My parents think spending this much money on a little animal who will only live to be about 2 years old is ultimately a waste. I’ve tried everything I can to convince them, but I can’t waste more time; Lucina needs medical attention while she is still healthy, not when she starts showing symptoms. If I wait until she starts “acting” sick, she will already be too weak to undergo surgery.
Lucina is my best friend, and I know that one day she will die. But dying at 10 months is too young, especially when she has such a good chance of making it through this. Please help me give Lucina the medical attention she needs.
Please donate or share if you can. Anything is deeply appreciated. Thank you for reading.
