Recently I’m kinda obsessed with very long processes. Like, how everything can be accomplished if you just have a lot of time. How weak creeks can carve massive valleys into solid rock. How the face of the Earth is constantly changing and shifting and moving, but very very slowly. How you can crack any code and password in existence if you just sat down and tried every single combination. Stuff like that.

In my 80-100 years of life on this planet I wouldn’t see even one second on the geological clock tick. But I would probably see the human population double or even triple, the speed of computers double 50 times, and the energy consumption of humanity double twice. Fast and large processes happening in a relatively short time are also fascinating.
