→ troye getting an idea for a verse while he was with Connor and excusing himself to the bathroom for about 15 minutes

→ Connor using Troye’s computer to photoshop a thumbnail and accidentally seeing the “for you” file on the computer, but deciding not to look

→ on a lazy afternoon, con and troye are laying in bed, Connor reading a book, head propped on Troye’s thigh while troye lazily twirls Connors hair. troye accidentally starts humming the chorus to the song and con puts his book down to ask what song it was, as troye nervously scrambles for an excuse

→ when con falls asleep, troye sings him the whole song and kisses him on the forehead

→ con calls troye when he’s at the studio, the for him music in the background and they have a whole conversation while the track is playing on a loop in the back

→ when con hears the song for the first time he recognizes the track because of the call

→ on connors birthday, throughout the day troye seems nervous. con keeps trying to figure out what’s wrong but troye won’t budge. he just kisses him and whispers that everything is ok

→ while they are out with friends on Connors birthday, troye is very anxious and hurried because he wants Connor to hear the song

→ after they come home, troye brings Connor his phone and earbuds and says “listen” and dashes away

→ con goes into their room to listen and as he does tears start to well in his eyes, but it isn’t until troye comes back into the room to see cons reaction that they actually start to flow

→ when troye does come back Connor leaps into his arms and kisses him a million times. he whispers I love you into Troye’s ear and they fall onto the bed.

→ they listen to the song together, tears streaming from both their eyes and shower each other in kisses and fall asleep in each other’s arms
