The bombing of Dresden was held towards the end of World War II by the British Royal Air Force (RAF) and the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF). This name is often referred to the four consecutive air raids that took place between 13 and February 15, 1945, approximately twelve weeks before the capitulation of the Third Reich.
